We all know that little Tom Marvolo Riddle grew up to become Lord Voldemort, the most powerful wizard of this time (so he thought).

Hermione Granger was surprised to learn that the food at Hogwarts was prepared and served by house elves. House elves are magical creatures who are somehow magically tied to families. They are basically elf servants who have no hope of freedom unless someone presents them with clothes.
Hermione worked hard to free house elves, though they didn’t seem to want to be freed. She created an organization called the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare (aka SPEW), and even spoke directly to some of Hogwart’s house elves, but they turned a deaf ear to her spirited words.
Ron Weasley was fond of reminding her that each house elf likes to work. He was especially fond of saying this as he was raiding the school’s kitchen, enjoying the many tasty dishes cooked up by the elves.
Dobby was the only house elf to work for wages. He agreed to work at Hogwarts, after being asked to work there by Dumbledore. But, even Dobby agreed that his paid employment was an unusual situation. He understood that most house elves prefer to be magically attached to families, rather than be paid employees.
For dessert, you can offer up some rock cakes, made famous, if not popular, by Hagrid. Or, for those a bit less daring, offer some treacle fudge. Then, dress up in a Harry costume and enjoy the party!
